In this imagined sequel to Jane Austen’s beloved Pride and Prejudice, we find Mary Bennet grown and wishing for a place in the world to call her own. When she visits the Darcys at Pemberley House and reunites with her sisters, they must all learn to see each other as they actually are. This leaves the men to navigate their new family's dynamics and manage some unexpected guests all while attempting to keep Christmas full of lots of laughter, warmth, and love.

We at Missed the Boat Theatre, on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Darcy, cordially invite you to our Pemberley Christmas Ball: an evening of English Country Dancing and refreshments on December 13, 2026 from 6-9pm. This ball is an extension of our Christmas celebration at our December show: Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, and is meant to invite members of our audience into Pemberley itself for a night of lively community together. Please get your tickets to one of our performances here.
The evening will include guided dancing tutorials and music from expert regulars with our friends at the Tapestry Folkdance Center, time to socialize with friends, and elegant themed refreshments. Regency-era dress is welcome and encouraged! Many of the cast members of the show will join you in the fun to celebrate the Christmas season.
This event is exclusive to those who have already come out in society (ages 14 and up). No specialty dance experience is necessary. This event is SOLD OUT: join the waiting list to be alerted if any tickets open up!

I bought tickets and I don’t see a confirmation email: what do I do? No problem! Just reach out to our Box Office staff at boxoffice@missedtheboattheatre.com and ask them to resend you your ticketing information.
How do I get the best seats? Seating for our Christmas show is general admission, so we encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before the show begins to select the seats you’d like.
Is the venue handicap accessible? Yes, the venue is accessible for those with handicaps. Please pay close attention to messaging or touch base with an usher upon arrival if you need to access the elevator.
Is this show appropriate for children? Yes, this show is appropriate for all ages. Please just use your best judgement to determine whether your children would enjoy a show set in the style and world of Jane Austen.
How much do tickets cost? Tickets cost $20, and there is a children’s ticket price of $10 for children 12 and under.
Is there a group discount? Yes! Groups of 10 or more can use the code GROUP at check out in order to receive $5 off each ticket.
