Thanks to you, high quality theatre stays afloat.
In a world that has become increasingly artificial, theatre is as real as it can get. The artist and the audience stand in the same room, and work together to breathe life into the art they share.
Our current fundraising campaign, kickstarted by our 2026 Benefit Cabaret, Shine On, is to fully fund our June production, the world premiere of Fr. Kyle Kowalczyk and Chad Berg's new show Moonshot: A Statistically Insignificant Musical. On the night of February 13th through the following week, we hope to raise $45,416: the precise amount budgeted to produce Moonshot. This will allow 100% of ticket sales to go toward supporting future programming, staff, and operations to continue transforming lives through the power of real, incarnational creative experiences.
Our incredible Cabaret audience donated $47,655. Because of the excitement around this campaign, we want to invite all of you into it with an opportunity to help us reach a stretch goal of $52,000. The show is fully funded, so this stretch goal would:
Help us expand access to our productions and provide discounts for different groups to make it possible for more people to enjoy the magic of live theater
Allow us to get high quality documentation of the show to further our goal of licensing original works for other theaters to produce
Give us the ability to enhance our efforts to connect as a community by growing our hospitality and formation for artists throughout the season
Did you know only about 50% of theater revenue typically comes from ticket sales?
All non-profit theater companies depend on contributed income to help support their mission; if they didn’t, ticket prices would be much more expensive they are and truly inaccessible for many patrons of the arts. This is true for us, as it is for most theaters nationwide.
Most theaters rely on grants from local government or arts foundations to help close the gap between ticket sales and their budgetary needs. Challengingly, Missed the Boat is both “too religious” for most arts funders and “too artsy” for many Catholic funders. Yet this very intersection between Catholic community and the creative experience is exactly what makes our mission so important, AND it’s why we depend on our loyal patrons and community to support our work to help continue offering redemptive experiences in the performing arts for Christian artists.
Become a monthly donor or send a one-time gift online here. As we are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all donations are tax-deductible.

We are especially grateful for our monthly and annual donors who support our mission. As a thank you to our individual donors, we offer fun perks including free tickets to our shows, discounts on our classes and spiritual retreats, merchandise, and more! Here is a complete list of our donor giving levels:
All donors who give from December 1, 2025-November 30, 2026 are considered supporters of the 2026 season, and will receive the following perks as indications of our gratitude, based on their giving level, throughout 2026. Monthly donors’ gifts are annualized and honored according to the sum total of their anticipated giving in the 12-month period, as indicated below.
Our giving levels are named for holy men and women known for their generosity, so that our patrons of the arts can have patrons in prayer as well. We pray in a particular way for the intercession of each group's patron throughout the year and especially on their feast days.
