We have a new logo!

As many of you know, Missed the Boat Theatre got its name from one of the most beloved songs in Fr. Kyle Kowalczyk’s Moonshine Abbey.

When we first started, we had no budget and no marketing director, and used a free vector of a ship for our logo. But now that we are blessed to have the fabulous Erin Da Costa on our team, she designed a logo that more accurately captured the feeling of “I missed the boat!”

The image shows the sun setting as a galleon sails into the horizon, its wake trailing away from a dock where you, the viewer are standing. You missed the boat.

But you’re not alone.

You’re with us, Missed the Boat Theatre, and all the other misfits who sometimes wonder where their place is in the Catholic world, the art world, and God’s plan for the universe.

We’re glad to have you with us.

Thanks so much to Erin Da Costa for this amazing logo! Thanks also to Shehan Perera who’s designing CYA: The Musical swag with the new logo for all of us who were involved in the premiere to remember one of the most amazing times of our lives.

We also have a fun alternate version with a nighttime setting for use on special occasions, as well as a black-and-white version in case we’re feeling pre-1940s (or just cheap).
